...Well the FedEx tracking shows that it should arrive today.

I hope it fits cause I sure as hell don't want to wait on another.

 

Mine shows as "out for delivery" so I should have it today.

 

Well it showed up...and doesn't fit.

Gave it to my girfriend...fits her good.

I re-ordered an XL.

It's really not a bad looking helmet. Looks better on the girlfriend than her other DOT helmet.

I have an ACC carbon fiber non-dot that I've been wearing for a few years and I really like it, fits great, looks great. I just thought I'd get a DOT helmet and give it a try.

 

How does it compare in size and weight to the ACC carbon fiber? Does it give you the "mushroom head" look?

 

I got mine today too. Fits perfect and is smaller than my Vega naked by far. It's the smallest DOT that I have seen.

 

I am having the same problem with ordering. They are sold out of almost every size and color option. In fact I believe they state they have one in stock. I called Leatherup and they were unable to tell me when they would be in stock. Either these are very sought after or the production runs are small.

 

I also ordered one a week and a half ago and they were supposedly in stock. Waited a week and checked my tracking on Leatherup and it said "unable to ship - out of stock".

WTF? The only other place I could find an x-large was on E-Bay for $99! Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait for more to come in stock.

 

Mine came in and it is a pretty small DOT helmet. I cut off the "D" rings and put on the metal quick disconnect, Fit is very good and I have ridden with this helmet several times. Good product for the price!

 

Leatherup stated that they will have more in 30-60 days. In case any of you out there were thinking about buying one.

 

I take it they run a little snug, size wise?

I'm probably gonna pick one up when they come back in stock. I tend to run between Large and XL depending on manufacturer. I've got 4 helmets, two are large, one XL and even one XXL.

I'm guessing I'll start with the XL.
