I'm posing as a guy who likes to ride motorcycles. It's been really tough to maintain my image as I roll down the highway on a Harley on a daily basis, but so far my disguise is holding ...

 

How about, trailering your bike ?

 

Isn't there some rule of debate that says you can't prove a negative, or something to that effect?

 

If you're doing your own thing, and being yourself, then you are being REAL, and thus are not a poser.

The guys who try to be something they are not, are easy to spot.

Riding a Harley-Davidson does not mean you have to try to live up to some stereotype.

Be yourself. Those that see you will give you your respect due.

A poser is just somebody that tries to be something they aren't. The try to live up to the stereotypical definition of whatever it is (biker, gangster, snow boarder) instead of just being themselves. You are posing as something other than yourself, just as you would pose for a picture. When do you ever see a group of people all packed in together focusing on a central point while wearing big, fake smiles?? It's the same general idea.

 

I bet she is a butterface...
