Good, i don't want to loud, more the nice sound than loud does it for me.

I have SE IIs, they are supposed to be "Off Road" only.
Well, I don't think they are loud at all. Very mellow, but crisp sounding. My 6 year old and I can talk while cruising. Now under a bridge I have to throttle it for her, she loves that sound. But it does sound good when I do it!
If you mess with the air filter, you are going to have to adjust the ECU maps. The VE tables will be off in closed loop at cruise speeds.

If you can find someone with them already installed, listen to them before you buy. They are louder than the stock '07 mufflers, but no where near as loud as previous years' SE II's. They are street legal in all 50 states if that tells you something about how loud they are. I put them on my '07 Heritage and later replaced them with Rush slip-ons. The SE's are now on eBay.

Keith, from reading your posts, and getting a feel for the type of guy you seem to be. I think you will like them. [sm=biker2.gif]
You want a video clip with sound? I might be riding tomorrow and can grab a clip with the digital camera if I do. About a 50/50 chance though.
And it does sound good going through the gears when alone getting on the highway. Redline whips up awefully fast from a stand still though in 1st & 2nd with the full Stage 1 stuff. Not really enough time to appreciate the sound, but 3rd & 4th are sweeeeetttttttt.
Considering a cam change late next summer at this point.

RE: SE Slipons and remapping?
I put on a set of Wild Pig Pipes slipons. Down slash, 2" baffles, loud but mellow. No mods required. Runs good, no decel popping. I bought them because they were cheap, under $200. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably go with either the V&H oval slipons or the Rinehart slipons with the black tips (my RK is black and they would look sick on it). Both brands cost a little more, but look a whole lot better. SE is a Harley subsidiary and anything you get from them is probably going to be to EPA specs. You may or may not care about that. Both V&H and Wild Pig's website have audio of their pipes. So does "Rush" which is another mid-range slipon.

Put the SEII's on my EG and the bike ran like crap. Kept popping and backfiring so I added the Cobra Fuel Processor which is user programable (adjustable). Bike runs great and I can readjust if I do further mods.
