I installed mine before reading instructions , now the darn thing is running lean . Shop only charged me 350.00 to fix my screw up

Is this considered a stage 1 mod?? I used the instructions posted but the bell faces backwards. I wonder if I can return it for a replacement.

a recall has been issued for the 2012 gremlin bell.

" bell clapper may become detached from bell, if the bell clapper becomes detached, it could become lodged in the rear tire and cause an unsafe riding condition resulting in injury or death"

I'm in the process of installing my own. I know I know,take it to the dealer yeah yeah.. Anybody know torque specs,or where to find them in my shop manual? Inch pounds or BS pounds?
