Did a web search and only got the ebay hits. It looks like he bought the cheap poly seat covers with the logo as well. Lame.

 

So is my Rubicon an HD version becuase my bike's parked in front of it. They guy is full of !@#$

 

Also a jeep fan (owner). Looks like aftermarket trim package to me too. Jeep did have some limited editon models though, like the tomb raider was mentioned, there was the ****** package (paint & trim) that was kinda cool. Some really old models had the Levi package (interior trim) most all the packages were just interior trim (islander, sahara, loredo) mods except the rubicon which has better axles, suspension, tires, I think the motor is the same on all (4.0l). I have the dana 44 with the locker in my 04 unlimited. Too bad I rarely off road these days.

This "HD Jeep" is straight BS.

As one post stated however; the dealership could have put some BS badges on it, seat covers, spare tire cover, etc and called it a "HD Jeep" and he believed it. Hook, line, and sinker...

Ya im very heavily embedded in the high end off-roading community. I am currently finishing up a build on a tube frame Jeep ZJ (98 Grand Cherokee) for a magazine photo session for Easter Jeep Safari and I can tell you with 100% certainty that guy is so full of horse pucky its not even funny.
