Make sure if you are going to let the back tire rest on the tailgate open you put a sheet of 1/2" plywood in the bed. I have seen the gates collapse due to the weight of the bike. Good luck.

There was just a post on here, by someone who drove their bike through their pickup cab. I couldn't find it on a search, but it will be a pain for you to unload and load by your self. Having dealer do it for you is a good idea.

Grab a trailer. Nice and easy to load/unload and you won't have to find a dealer or help to do it.

+1 on that, and you could pull a bike on a trailer with most any vehicle.
