This whole thread is a mystery to me. How often do you need to bleed your brakes? I've changed lines and such and once I got them bled, I was done.

Geezer,

You should flush out the old Brake fluid and replace with new about every two years.

I installed these on my Ultra Classic today. http://www.speedbleeder.com It probably took me longer to remove and replace the saddlebag than it took to install and bleed the brakes. I went with this option as I was having the same problem of not being able to stop air from getting in the system when using a mity-vac. Always had spongy brakes on some of my other vehicles. These bleeder valves are great!

I have speedbleeders on my fxr, work great. Not such a big deal on bikes, but really worth the money on the cage, can't hardly get my 15 yr. old to pump the brakes anymore! :)
