Harley gave up on the ugly contest with Victory, because Victory takes the ****ing pole everytime with their ugly ****.

That said heres my .02 and I'm sure many will disagree:
The ONLY H-D I've seen come from the factory with any potential and the right "stance" that appeals to me(after much modification-or less than any other model) is the Deuce.

I like the "Pro-Street" stance and geometrics that the Deuce model comes with-and I've done a few with PM wheels and PM Calipers & Rotors,Braided Steel lines and Martin Bros. Pipes-and a BAKER BELT DRIVE and Roland Sands Design Rocker Boxes,Cam Cover & Arlen Ness Gauges and Mean Streets risers & handlebars.
The tins were re-painted here by an in house guy I have and they turned out really Cool.
That said.....I think the Deuce has way more potential than that butt ugly rocker w/the seat **** all high in the air over the rear fender(what the hell was H-D thinking...?)
Heartland has a nice fix for the Rockers **** -end aesthetics-but the rest is too clich'e/cheesy for my taste.
And I wont even dare to mention what I think of the Victory motorcycles.
So in other words, you rebuild it from the ground up and it makes a cool bike, and thats why you like em? Maybe I missed the point.

Default Since absolutely no one asked me...

I always liked the Deuce. (I'm always quite relieved when I drop one.)
I even like the Switchback (someone blasted it a few pages back.)
But, I never did care for the Rocker. I wanted to. The idea was right but the execution (especially the Back-to-the-Future Hover-seat) was poor.

Oh yeah, my Deluxe is Black Cherry Pearl. Is that somehow rare as well? (Never hurts to ask.) If so, who wants to touch it? I said: WHO WANTS TO TOUCH IT?

I tease the guys at work about them not licking my bike while they check it out.

That's awesome! I could just imagine someone, like my wife, biting on the stitching on the seat just to make sure it was good quality.

I liked my deuce alot, the way I sat into it fit me. But after taking longer trips and minimal packing room it was time to move to a bagger. But I still miss It !! I still have a set of duece saddlebags gathering dust in my garage.
