I was hit by a car in Sturgis in 2008. God damn 20year old on her cell phone. It was Right In front of The Full Throttle Saloon, and The Pit Stop gas station. Lost a toe, and alot of skin, And a 2008 CVO Softail Springer. Just figured since there were a ton of people around when it happened I would see if any of you forum users might had witnessed it? Would kinda like to know what happened really?

I was not at fault according to the reports. but never got a full story just $75,000.00 in medical bills and a girl with $25,000 worth of coverage hoping I wouldn't sue her and wreck the rest of her life.

The good news is I am alive and can walk. And I got back on the bike again.

I suspect that would be a thread on its own. At least you are alive. Years ago we lost a local guy getting off the interstate at Sturgis. I guess some guy and gal were in a car that had stopped on the off ramp. Guess they were in some sort of pissing match. Rider was going to go around, gal opened the car door just as he was passing.

 

I was 23 when i got hit. If she would have came and seen me I probably would have put the moves on her. Found her on Facebook asked her what happened and no reply or answer. I will say this she looked pretty hot. lol but she did damn near kill me so I guess i would have to get over that. lol

 

They probably had to call a toe-truck!
