Has anyone noticed the prices on the classifieds?

I agree. If you dont like a price quit bitchin and dont buy it. Too many people feel the need to complain about what a person prices their own stuff.

The prices in our classified section are better than ebay for the most part. I just got a licks solo bag that looks like it just came out of the box for a very reasonable price.

I am starting to think these guys asking two times a fair price has it right.
I have offered stuff at a bargain and someone will always low ball me and want it for free..

Asking and selling price are two different things. I you find something you want, make a reasonable offer.

Yea; I dunno what happened to this "buyer's market" everyone is talkin' about--I spent 9 months looking for a RoadKing before I bought my '07, and people were asking a fortune for garbage. Of course, I practically stole mine, but it took 9 months of looking to find a great buy. Same with parts. When I go to the Webster swap meet, people are literally on crack with what they're asking for old, rusted, worn out crap. Go figger!

Yeah... When I am a buyer...I don't haggle over prices... Or that make offer crap...
Me: how much for said dohickey
Seller: entirely too much to me
Or make offer
Me: thanks, as I walk off
Me: how much for muffler bearings?
Seller: fair to great number..
Me: thanks as money and parts change hands.
A fool and his money are soon departed.. I have no issues or problems with what people sell or how much they want for it. It's theirs, and if they can make a mint or retire on said item, it's not my job to tell em other wise...
I have put an entire chrome and rubber collection on my Softail for 55 dollars.
Grips, front and rear pegs, brake pedal, and shift peg...
Basically, not my job to tell people what they have or don't have, and what they should do with it!!
And when People tell me to make an offer, I politely say,
"no, because I will insult you, with any offer I make."
