Well I guess we will give it a try. I don't snowmobile or ice fish so what else is there to do in the Winter time.

Was it worth it?

$24 for tickets
$5 for parking
$25 for lunch

Watching the grandson smile his *** off checking out all the bikes and taking pictures with the ladies in short dresses, Priceless.

Guess it all depends on what you expect.

It's coming here at some point. I saw the flyers. I am going to go. It's a day out looking at bikes.

The Mpls show is next weekend. We always meet up there with some friends. As a Biker who likes all brands of bikes, its nice to see them all in one place. These days the individual dealers around town frown on you sitting on their bikes in the showroom. I want to see the new ZX-14 Kaw, and sit on it. Last year was pretty lean for vendors, hopefully this year will be better for all. To me its worth the $$.

Went last night in Cleveland.....very lame compared to earlier years...BMW didn't even show up. Harley, Triumph, Kawasaki and Honda all had full displays.

BMW was not in DC, and Victory was represented by local dealers, not the company. The number of after market accessory companies decreases every year. I go every year since it it is the weekend before or after my birthday so it is part of my birthday celebration. The bikes in the competition that are on display are interesting to look at.

Every year, for the past several, the show has shrinking in size (less floor space). For the Seattle show, you can usually get $3 off coupons, and parking is free for motorcycles. It's an OK place for hanging out with some friends and looking at metrics (and the Ducati Hotties), but not much for the Harley gang that you can't see more of in your local dealership.

Beats sitting at home, but not by much...

I went in New York and had a good time but I think it's going to be a different show in every city.
Especially because the custom makers are all or mostly local so that was a big part of the show in my opinion. And even the manufacturers have different people at each show.

I went to the one in San Mateo, CA. Got a discount coupon so only paid $10 per ticket so it wasn't too bad. I expected alot more in terms of vendors. HD had a pretty decent display, as well as the other manufacturers. But vendor wise there wasn't much variety. I've never been to any other motorcycle shows and such so I don't have much to compare it to but I did leave disappointed. I don't think I'd come to another one unless I had nothing better to do. I did get a hold of a "Flo's Posse" shirt that I'm quite proud of.

I went to the Cleveland show again. Gets smaller every year. Probably worth the $15 just because it's something to do in winter.
