I read somewhere on here that any key will also open the saddlebags. I've never tried it, has anyone?

I will check , but I don't think so . Or people would be having stuff stolen all the time , even there bags themselves. I went out and checked and another key does not work in my bags or tour pac. Also I put this info on here for guys to learn more about there bikes , not to get flamed on for admitting that they just learned something. Thanks and be nice

Your key will most likely start other bikes. Only so many ways to cut a key.

Hmm, good little bit of info to know. Don't have locking gas caps but I know people who do.

My key is always with my security fob which is always with me except for that one time I left it in the garage and fired up the bike and was quite surprised when the bike wouldn't start at the store a while later....

Hate to burst your bubble, but it's not just now being introduced in cars. The 55 chevy was the same way, only needed the key to lock the ignition.

If you lost your key, how would you get to the gas station or ride the bike once you fill up?

This deed sucks.
