The High Output pro-pipe with the Fuel Pack Kicks ***.
I am running these on a 2009 Street Glide 96"
I used to be at 3K Rpm and the speedo was at about 73 to 75 mph. Great, normal, average whatever you may say. This was on the freeway.
Yesterday took a ride 2 up and I was at 83-85 mph at about 2800 RPM.
The bike is screaming. LOVE THE DEEP GROWL.

I guess I am just too excited so I am sharing it will all of you.
I love how the pipes change the gearing on a bike

That doesn't make any sense. It takes x amount of horsepower to pull a bike at x miles an hour. If you increase your hp then you get to x hp at a lower rpm.

I may not be that mechanically inclined as you are sir I am just an average rider that puts about 7500 miles in a year on my bike.
As I stated in my post I have just reflected what I am seeing while riding it. Gearing has NOT been changed, all that I replaced was my V&H True Duals with V&H Ovals to V&H High Output 2into1 Pipes.
My rpm's and my speed at the particular rpm have increased.
If you want to speculate on how it got there without changing the gears well go for it and LOL all you want.

Sound: Edge to Pro Pipe
Torque: Edge to Pro Pipe
HP: Edge to Pro Pipe
Looks with Saddlebags: Edge to True Duals

Just my opinion, I have the V&H Pro Pipes and True Duals......SJ Ron

The only way your RPMs are going to change at a given speed is as someone else said your clutch is or was slipping or you changed to another gear or you changed your gear ratio. A pipe change is not going to change your RPMs. Sorry about the LOL, but thats just the way it is.

I have a standard Pro Pipe Chrome that I put a quiet baffle into because the standard baffle was too loud for long trips. Didn't like the sound of the quiet baffle so I wrapped both sections of the standard baffle with muffler packing and got the perfect combination of sound and loudness.

Agree, I do like the TD look and theirs lots of member that have them.

But,,, I also think that most any 2-1 system will be a lot better in the under 3k area and across the sheet for area under the curve..

I have had a few pro pipes and 2-1 make the most power period. I got the H.O. because I have the 103 and plan on doing motor work at some point .

If you increase your horspepower than your bike is going to produce the power needed to propel your motorcycle at the same speed at a lower rpm. I can't understand what you are thinking.
