I dropped my 85 Honda Shadow back in 88, but have been fortunate enough to keep my last 4 bikes( 3 harleys) upright............knock, knock!!

When I was on my first bike, a Suzuki 1000, I was practicing some slow turns in a parking lot and on one of the turns, it went down. I learned my lesson about taking slow turns.

Not me but a guy I work with has twice. Both happened the same way, he backed his truck up to his driveway and put some kind of ramp down from the tailgate to the ground. He then rode up but paniced at some point up the ramp, put his feet down but his feet were about 3 feet to short to reach and went all the way down. One bike is a 98 road king and the other is a newer Buell. He hurt someting on his body once and was fine on the other.

I dropped a Yamaha Virago going very slow... Just pulling onto my dead end street back in 98. I knew the sand was there, and I knew I was past it when I gave her a little gas. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't past it, I had just gone to fill the tank up and was wearing sweat pants and top siders. All I got was a skinned knee and 275.00 in chrome damage. Ever since, I always wear boots, pants and engine guards on the bike

However, I've seen my friend go down on wet leaves on a Honda 360, drive his Suzuki crotch rocket up a highway embankment and just fall over on the grass, and finally saw him sail over the handlebars when he was cut off and hit the right rear bumper of a car. He never got hurt fortunately, all happended when we were both very young. He's not currently riding...

I dropped my Honda Shadow at a gas station. The kick stand didn’t go all the way down and I couldn’t keep it from falling. I had the gas cap off so gas went spilling everywhere. It was SOOOO embarrassing.
