Default When do you stop fussing

Just bought a new Super Glide Custom. My first new Harley. When do u stop fussy and fretting ? Every little scratch and swirl mark freaks me out. I was never like this with my pre-owned Harley's.

It took me awhile. I was the same way. Now, at 138,000 miles I am just happy it is still running, lol!

Its called character. You will get used to it. Grab a wrench and wack the tank. There got it out of your system!

You never really get over it, you just learn to live with it.

I have never fussed over a motorcycle or automobile. Ride it, maintain it, wash it every once in a while.

Every new car, truck, or bike, I've ever owned was such that the harder I tried to keep it showroom new, the more bad things would happen to it. So with this bike, I just ride it and only clean it once in a while. It still looks pretty nice!!!

Never worried about it, it's a bike and is supposed to be ridden. Mine has aged like a crack ***** hooker, plenty of age marks but it runs like a champ.

I usually never quit but after a ride to the Arctic Circle with about 1000 miles on gravel or in mud I pretty much am just thankful that it still looks good (with a few dings) and runs like a champ. Nothing like mileage to make you realize it is a motorcycle and not a beauty queen.
