Absolutely worth it and the dealer that offers it in my area will give you a gift card for the amount of the course if you buy a Buell or HD within six months from their dealership.

The course is well worth it, I don't think it matters whether you use your bike or one of the smaller bikes that most courses use, the fundamentals are exactly the same.
Once you get through the first few excercises and actually start riding I think you will enjoy it. I taught the course for the Navy for a few years and enjoyed every minute. The course is a requirement for Navy people (at least it was) so my classes had people with all levels of experience from never rode, to been riding for years. Almost everyone said they enjoyed it and learned something. We did use our own bikes instead of the smaller bikes that are normally used and it was interesting to see which bikes were the easiest to ride. I was suprised how well the people on big harleys did.

Take it.You may go over things you already know, but there will be things that you dont. The practical driving/range time is a great confidence builder, as well as fun!
