Question Need advice for new seat

I purchased a 2012 Wide Glide and plan on travelling for 3 or 4 days. Went to Port Dover last week (2hr. ride) and almost wrecked my a$$ with the stock seat. Any suggestions for a new travelling seat that won't kill me? Don't want the gell butt pads either.
Thanks in advance.

Tried all sorts of things to get the stock seat to work. Finally bit the bullet on a Mustang wide touring seat. There is no substitute for Mustangs IMO. Even momma's happy so now everyone's happy. She could make it a max of 40 minutes with the stock seat. Now can do about two hours before getting squirmy back there. Only MINOR gripe is nose is more narrow in front than stock seat so rear cylinder a bit more exposed for heat at a red lights (seat did move me forward too but it works for me as I have shorter legs/arms and a longer torso).

My Mustang Vintage lets me ride as long as I want. It's usually some other part(s) of my aging body that tells me when to stop.

if your a poor fella (or just plain like to save money) see if you can find a stock fatbob seat. my old dealer had a takeoff that they let me take off their hands for a small (compared to new prices) fee. feels a lot better on the rear end. just my tip

I switched my Fat Bob seat out with a Mustang wide touring seat about a month ago. The main reason was the stock passenger seat wasn't good for more than about 20 minutes, but I will say the Mustang is a bit more comfortable for me as well on longer rides. If you are interested in a 2012 stock Fat Bob seat PM me.

I have a mustang on mine too. Love it. My GF can spend most the day on the detachable pillion as well. Next stop, suspension.
