Today I had the pleasure to Escort about 800 fine Marines from 9th ESB back home from a deployment to Afghanistan. It is such a sight to see about 20 motorcycles blocking / stopping traffic so five bus loads of Marines can get home makes my heart want to explode. Keep in mind this is happening in Okinawa Japan. What a great night!!!!

 

Marines sure weren't given any kind of escort when we returned from Vietnam,not that I give a rat's ***,it was a big waste of lives and money.Why the change of heart now?

 

Wow!!! Why now? Because I'm here now and I love my brothers and sisters Marines that serve OUR country. That is why. Do you need more?

wow wtf. I remember some bikes at the airport when i left for afghan when i got back it was night and raining like oki always does. none of us cared if anyone was waiting we were ready to be home. good on you though.

 

Glad everyone made it back,I love them also.Just hate to see and hear about loss of life and limb.

Good to see. When I came back from Iraq in 2003 as a 20 year old E4 it was an awesome experience when about 100 bikes escorted our buses. Made me feel on top of the world.

 

You my friend are a real piece of work....I'm proud of the guys blocking traffic and damn proud of my military brothers and sisters....What a TURD!
