Default lowering question

I typically try to hide my ignorance, but what the heck, I'll ask anyway. Does lowering the rear end on a softail lower the frame of the bike or will it stay the same height, this is what I am guessing. Thanks,

your frame will sit lower in the rear.

and the bike will handle a little differently because of the change in geometry. however you may not notice the change

^^^this. Other things like primary covers and floor boards will scrape first if that's what you are worried about.

I like my girls to.drop it like it's hot. Slammed my girl's *** 3 inches. The frame will drop. I like my sleds in the grass.

You will scrape if you're not careful. I am a form over function Dude for the most part.
