any ride is a good ride!!!!!
Ihad to go to Nashville this morning for a work meeting,it is a good 50 mile ride each way. On the return trip I got caught in the rain for about the last 45 miles, I got to the house and I had that same feeling come over me like every other time I end a ride, I did not want it to end!I thought about going somewhere else. Even after a wet ride I did not want to stop, I had to because I had to switch to the car to go pick the kids up, but I really hated that I had to stop riding ( even in the rain).

That feeling should never go away,after all my years in the saddle,I still crave it.Now that the years have worked me over a little, I do find it much easier to waiting,for the next ride,because they are always good to me.

We always hate the last 45 minutes of the ride, cause it means getting stuck in traffic in Nor VA.
Whether we are coming back from OC, Md, the Inner Harbor, out in the Shenandoah Valley, up US15 from Culpeper, or even I95 from Fredericksburg, taffick headin for the asphalt perimeter blows. I guess that is to be expected, seeing that all the hot air inside Beltway usually sucks.
Beats never riding again tho,
