so you're saying that while he was waiting trial on the 2010 incident, he killed 4 more?

No, the crash was 2 years ago. He was on trial last year and got a hung jury. This was the retrial. I'm hoping for a stiff sentence.

I hope he does a long time. Still doesn't seem to be enough.

There could never be enough. This piece of human waste took four lives and ruined countless others because of his desire to fulfill his personal needs. The total disregard for others for self satisfaction is becomming more pervasive in our society. It's certainly not limited to drugs or alchohol as we are all so well aware of the average driver not giving a hoot about driving under the influence of a cell phone either, which can lead to just as devastating a result. Distracted driving regardless of the source needs to be punished heavily and very soon or we will have an epidemic of just this sort of thing. One life or 4, the guy should go away for a very, very long time.

Friend of mine who lives near there sold all three of his bikes and gave up riding because of that accident. Or non-accident. Early reports said the driver was mad because the bikes passed him on the hiway.

The way things are today, I'll be highly surprised if he gets more than 20 and serves over 8. It was an 'accident' and he'll be 'oh, so sorry' and 'rehabilitated' they'll let him out early.

The real kicker about this guy is. Just days after the incident while out on bail and waiting blood test results. He was being watched and do to his driving he got stopped and he was higher than a kite. But none of this could be brought up in this past trial. I don't know if he had his day in court on this incident or not. He also was involved in a minor accident just two weeks before the deadly incident. He some how was able to sneak past detection on that one.
