Default Heel toe shifters are...

great. This is the first bike I have had one on, and I love it. When I first got the bike, I had no idea what the "extra" part of the shifter was even for. I really had to focus on using it at first, but now it is second nature. I couldn't imagine riding without it...

same here. I will never own another bike without a heel-toe shifter.

Tookthe heel part of mine off within a week after I bought bike. For one, there wasn't enough room on the floorboard for me to move my foot. the other was I found it too confusing, guess I have ridden too long without one. Plus, I just like the look ofthe toe only shifter.

I had a little trouble at first changing from a toe lever. Just remember heel is for a higher gear and toe is for a lower gear.

I like mine, use it all the time. One mod I want to make is getting an extended heel shifter to give me a little more room on the floor board for my foot.

Love it. First one I ever had. Funny, I made one of my first posts before I recieved my 06 Ultra and asked the guys "how long does it take someone to get used to the floorboards and heel toe shifters?. What a rookie.

Learned a lot in the last year. After 17,000 miles I love them and wouldn't do without either.

I would have a hard time going back to the single lever...Love the heel-toe.
