Funny, I heard just the opposite:
They're coming out with yet a third model of FB called the Fatboy Nostalgia. It will look just like the one in T2 and is set coincide with the re-release of T2 in 3D. The MoCo is bringing in Arnold to do the promos, too. There's a huge fanfare going on about it. I'm surprised none of you have heard about it yet...

 

That would be as crazy as GM discontinuing the Camaro. 'course it was a good thing they killed off that abomination...

 

Well, it's about the most popular softail so...yes, you can bet Harley will quit making it. Don't know why, but that would be typical.

i think they will keep the fatboy lo maybe the chrome fatboy might go to many softtail in the harley line now

 

It doesn't make sense to discontinue the Fat Boy line altogether....that would mean they would be discontinuing the Lo also. With HD already axing the Deluxe, that would leave some huge holes in the Softail lineup.

Maybe they're clearing some space for new Softail models?? Maybe a return of the Night Train?? If so, they will sell many.

It would make more sense to get rid of the Blackline since they are almost impossible to move and sell...around here anyway.

The Fat Boy is an icon....I would hate to see them get rid of it.
