MCSarge, give me a break dude! Just because your wife told you that every woman has one doesn't mean that they all do (LOL). Just joking!
What I would like to do with this is maybe after the poll is up and running for a while I will copy the link to this page and post it on the York Plant's Union's web site. Anything to help out a UNION BROTHER!!!

Hell, just about everything else I own or buy is imported so why not the bike? I hope they never move overseas but if the quality and look stays where it is now, I would buy it. But them moving thier operations and putting americans out of work would **** me off and might make me change my mind and stick with older USA Harleys. In fact, now that I think more about it I would rather have the older bike. Damn, I voted wrong.

I would not buy a foreign HD. Ever. Part of it IS the fact that they are AMERICAN. Victory and any other American bike would be first. And if none existed I would buy the cheapest bike that fit my riding.

So what if other things I buy are foreign, can't control it. HD is an American legend and that is why I choose it. I will always buy an American co ride. If they cease to exist, then the cheapest will be under me. I hate the thought of it.[:@]

Give your head a shake if you think all the parts for your ride is made in the USA.
I purchased my 2007 Springer Classic because I allways wanted one, and knew, when I finally got it, that much of the parts were made else where.
My 2003 gl1800 is considered made in Marysville (assembly plant) but alot of the parts are actually produced overseas also.
Hate to say this but " the global economy has been with us for years."

Well I definitelyhave a different outlook than most of you, but I do believe in buying at home when possible. I live in Canada, so when it comes to bikes, they're all foreign to us.......makes no difference to me where it's made.I ride a Harley because I like the bike, not because of where it's made. When Indian comes out next year, even though the company is based in England, I'll probably buy one of those (as long asStellican does as good of a job as they did with Chris-Craft)
