Default Hi, I'm John, and i'm...

a chromeaholic. It's been 7 days since my last piece of chrome. I was doing fine this week untill I saw a shinny deuce on the forum. "Just one more piece" and i'll stop I keep telling myself, but one leads to another and you know....

I'm sure with your help I can get through this weekend. Well thanks for your support. I'm John, and i'm a chromaholic.

I am a chromeaholic working a 12-step program--I never carry cash or credit cards within 12 steps of the dealer; I lock it all in a saddlebag, then enter the store. Of course, Zanotti's has gotten so much business from me that I have memorized all of my credit card information; but it is a one day at a time program; and it is progress, not perfection.

Hiii John. My name is Bob and i too am a chrome aholic. My bike is at the dealer right now having more chrome added to it. I have gone as far as reducing the amount of credit avaliable to me on my cc so i cant get carried away. I can relate to your problem and will monitor this post to learn good ideas on how to stop. or i will stop when i run out of cash. o yea i am already there. j/k LOL

The first thing you learn in treatment is that most have to hit rock bottom before they can see light at the end of a long tunnel. Rock bottom differs on the person. Some may hit bottom after only a couple hundred dollars of chrome, while other may have to become poverty stricken before bottoming out. Another is you will need to change your friends and playgrounds to remove temptation. And remember that once you quit you are only one chrome acorn nut away from being as bad off as your worst day as a chrome junkie. Good luck finding the path. Maybe hang out with die hard Night Train riders.

I would like to state for the record that.......

MY FAVORITE COLOR IS CHROME!!!!

I started with big trucks....when that was so shiney you could see it from space at night....I down sized to pick-ups....which didn't last long 'cause I live in a "farm community" and was accused of "going ghetto"(not a good thing)

Best friend bought a bike a couple of years ago and when he wouldn't let me add anymore, I went and bought my own

It's an addiction that I can stop anytime I want to....really I can
