Default Custom Dynamics Run-Brake-Turn vs. Harley's offering

I'm looking to install a Run-Brake-Turn system in my RKC and was just about to pull the trigger on the Custom Dynamic's product when I noticed that Harley offers one as well.

The CD's model requires me to get the module as well as a Signal stabilizer. Both items equal out to around $160. I do like the different options that it offers with the blinking brake/ turn lights addition.

On the Harley offering it doesn't offer the blinking, but it looks like you don't need a Stabilizer. At least it doesn't look like it from the write up. Total cost is $58.

So is the CD option worth the $100 more? Am I incorrect in not needing a stabilizer with the HD model?

Thanks

It's a choice you need to make. The HD one is plug and play, but it is very bare bones. As you saw, the CD and Kury one's have more options that will make you stand out better to other cars.

I have the HD running/brake/turn module along with the BAL1 on my Sporty. It really gets noticed.

I've got the HD product on mine. Completely plug and play and it's been on for two years. No problems at all.

I would contact them about needing the load equalizer. I have a feeling that's only if you switch to LEDs as well as the stock bulbs should still pull the same load. I have CD LEDs and their load equalizer on my bike and love them. Very easy to install and I get nothing but compliments on how bright my lights are. My tail lights especially are increadibly bright.

I am very happy with my run/turn (amber)/brake lights from CD. Mine is plug and play because I have a '12 Dyna with Canbus. No equalizer needed. My taillight is Radiantz. Everything is bright.
