Gonna do our best to make it this year !
We tried last year, but it conflicted with another ride at that time and we had already made arrangements we couldnt/wouldnt break.

Just came back from Marti G. over there to check out the area, and was impressed with the event.
Vendors were not outragous... Drinks were Fair portions for a fair price.
The LEO's I talked with were polite and friendly, and I only saw one "Incident" which was a street vendor had not purchased a license and the LEO issued a ticket... but that was it !

All day drinks..... Great Bands with good diversity...... and pleasant folks.....
Good Times !

Now the Bad Parts...........
With Nascar in town @ Daytona, reputable accomodations were scarce.
Closest I could get was Altimont Springs (sp?)...... and @ 8:00pm Friday Evening and 23 degress coming from Tallahassee, Momma said "Not another Mile !
Unfortunately, we were 70 miles from the Hotel.... NO REFUNDS. CAPITAL PERIOD !

So we bounce off about twenty roadside Motels til we find one in Belview.
It was $45.00 a nite, (cash), and exactly what you would expect.
Only room we can find, dirt cheap....... Yup you guessed it.....
Between the guy across the parking lot from me... with the white Panel Van that has not left his drivers seat for an hour... Focusing on my bike like its the second coming or sumptin.....
Or the Crack ******, Rock Stars, and Dealers that apparently rent there over the week ends....
I spent most the night Patroling, keeping the pimp from knocking over my bike as he fought with one of his gals....
Making sure the 15 cars an hour that were in and out were not backing over my Bike..... yup, Pedro is still behind the wheel over there... and Im begining to think he's dead...and just proped up in the Van !

Biggest decision of the night......
Let the 1929 space heater continue to try to heat the small room.( Who new a room with no windows could get so cold ! )
Or carefully attempt to pull the frayed, frail looking, fabric cord from wall and save us from a firey hell.
( In the end.... I got no sleep anyways so I opted to keep an eye on it cuz #1... I was sure to get electicuted by the poor weathered cord. And #2.... that whole firey hell thing was lookin better each minute that passed ! )

Next Mourn.....
I fail to mention to the wife that I believe this place a Bed Bug Resort... but do insist "We" need a long hot shower.....with PLENTY of Soap !
I call the Hotel that had my Room.... good News !
They say they can shift my nights over a day so I dont lose my money ! Great Stuff !

We go to Leesburg... party...eat...party....
All day the wife tells me... "Dont ya think ya outta call the Hotel to be sure they got our room ?".
"Naw" says I...... I asked them if really late check in was available and was assured it was.... I had explained that I maybe past midnight... no problem I'm told.
( All Day she Told Me ! )

11:00 pm we prepare for our short journey to the Hotel.
Only then do I call............ only to get someone that speaks broken english that can only tell me my room was given up on as "No-Show after 2:00pm, and due to high demand they had rented it and are now full.
No room for you..... and we keep your money !

We tried Brother.... I mean we tried......
But ya know where we had to go ?
Close guess..... No, accross the street from Crack Motel... and it werent too much Better.
