Default JP Cycles Antique (bicycle-style) grips: Do they get softer?

Installed a set of these on my Slim yesterday: http://www.jpcycles.com/product/5000...um=retargeting

They sure do look nice with the vintage vibe of my bike. But dang, they are hard as a rock. They are the same size and ergonomic shape as the HD Get a Grips they replaced. But I felt a bit of hand fatigue just from this morning's 30 min ride to work?

Anybody running them and and do they get any softer over time? Love the looks. But I may have to return them and go back to my HDs.

I don't know about the J&P grips but I have the Harley grips that look just like that and I like them a lot.

I'll give em a week. But I doubt they will end up as comfortable as the HD Get a Grips. We'll see.

Just following up with a report on these. Either my hands got used to them, or they eased up, cuz they feel just fine now.

That's 'cuz we showed Rosie O'Donnell bikini pictures to them when you were sleeping.
That'll soften anything.
