Harley Davidson T-shirt?

Doesn't bother me, where my bikes are made. I my bikes for the style of riding they offer. Before getting my 13 Ultra, I test rode the goldwing and the BMW K1600. I purchased the bike that was most comfortable for my wife and myself. Once you get serious about buying the dealers know it, all three bikes sell OTD with in 1K of each other.

I've got a Harley of Dubai and a Harley of Bahrain shirt. Strangely, they were made right here in the US of A.
Want an American-made Harley T-shirt? Go to the Middle East.

Well crap. Looks like to solve the mystery, on my next visit to Texas, I'll have to visit every store to find out which one is selling shirts from the Honduras.

Have about 100+ Harley shirts. Seldom wear 'em on the bike. I have a few favorites I wear while riding, but the rest......

You've been on this forum since 2009 and this is the first time you've heard of this? You thought all the HD Motorclothes were made in the USA even after the countless threads on here that have said otherwise?
Well thank you for your revelation. I'm sure all the members are just as surprised as you were to discover it.

Would it help if I told you the shirts were screen printed in the USA? I actually don't know that to be true, but I do know the backs were screen printed in the USA.
Besides the whole world economy thing, there is another factor: Harley didn't have the shirts made for them like they do some (most?) parts. Harley simply licensed the shirts. The dealer buys them from a separate licensee and Harley never touches them. This licensee (most often RK Stratman) does as they please from start to finish. There does seem to be an exception. I think the license forces the shirt to be American made if it has an American flag in the design. (and yes, they do cost more)
A look through your closet will find damn few USA shirts going back MANY years. I've noticed many of mine to be Honduras, and honestly, it could be worse. I'd rather some poor Central/South American location then something in Asia.
