Bad Rear Suspension on 2014 Streetglide?
#32
My 2014 SG had 595 miles on it when I got it about a month ago.
I put a tour pack on it and I've put about 2400 miles on it over the last 30 days with the majority of those miles being canyon riding. I'd say about 85% is solo with the rest having either my Wife or Son as a passenger. Additionally, I often load up the tour pack & saddle bags. This bike has the stock air shocks and not the "upgraded" progressive design.
With that said, the amount of weight I'm carrying in addition to myself (188lbs naked/200lbs with gear, helmet, etc.) varies from 10lbs to 35lbs in addition to the riders. I've decided the stock air shocks are bare minimum for solo and way less than minimum for any weight and/or passengers.
I'm considering the Progressives & Ohlins #6 for the rear but still looking for input on the front.
