I love my Fatboy, but my 1st Harley was a '73 Ironhead Sportster, so I would have to go with that.

Ha, same here. Bought in '74 when I turned 21. Shifter on right side...cool bike. But, definitely not my favorite by far. My favorite would be which ever one I have at the moment.....yeah, I'm easy to please.

Tough call for me.....I still want to add either a Shovelhead FXR, or a Shovelhead FXB Sturgis to my stable.

I always say, the Night Train is my keeper...but I guarantee my 82 FXR will still be in the stable when I kick the bucket.

For me, it's been the '48 Panhead, and then everything else.

You almost have to include customs in the list, because it was the chopper that saved Harley from completely disappearing in the 70s. So, I guess my number two would be the Capt. America bike.

As someone who owns a FXR, I agree it is a great bike and will not part with it. With that said, to me the best looking bike is that pan head .... especially in red .. love that bike!
