I dont wanna be on the roads when familys arnt pulling keys from those that shouldnt be driving,,, thats why,,, its 2007 for christ sakes,,, nobody takes responsibility any more,, look around..

I couldn't believe it! Just the other day I saw a female cop, smoking a cig, yakin' on her cell phone, while driving a squad car! And yes, she almost pulled out in front of someone.

If someone deliberately tries to run you down on your bike,that's one thing.But accidents are accidents.If you don't realize you are hard to see on a bike,you shouldn't be on one.

I think it would make sense to keep it on a state by state basis with some sort of awareness program. There's no question that the majority of motorcycle fatalities are the result of the cager just didn't even see the biker and pulled in front of them. It happens with too much regularity in Maine every spring when the bikes start running the roads. Maybe some LHTS ( Left Hand Turn Syndrom ) scenario commercials during the 6 o'clock news before the beginning of the riding season might stick in folks minds and save a few lives.
During our rides last summer, it didn't seem like you could go a weekwithout a cage doing something stupid around you. You almost feel like you ought to mount one of them big amber strobe lights off the plow-truck on top of your helmet.LOL
