Show Me Your Harley and Your Tent!
I've had a couple of good tents so I'll start. Here's my old "touring" softail with a Cabela's XPG 4-man in the first picture and my Tarptent in the next one. I would love to see other setups -- anybody?

OK... stupid question from someone who has never tent camped from my bike but how do you haul the tent? Do they pack up very small? I saw one pulling a trailer but short of that option how do you pack all your stuff on the bike without having an ultra? Just curious how small it pack.
Thanks |

Not a stupid question. I've done a little backpacking, where pack size and weight are crucial, so I'm real particular about my gear. Tents range in packed size. For example, my tarptent (above) is really a 1-man tent, but packs up to about the size of a 1 liter bottle. The other tent I use is a 3-man and it packs up to about 6X20" (takes up approx half of a Street Glide saddlebag with plenty of room for my sleeping bag).
