$14.95 oil changes are loss leaders. It's a shitty advertising tactic to get you in the door, give your car a quick once over and upsell you **** you probably don't need anyway. Since most jiffy lubes don't stock HD filters, or know anything about them, it just doesn't make sense.

 

I'll never understand why people let Harley charge their oil for $80.00 effin dollars

 

Its not a matter of thinking they do it, they do it... I change my own oil and all routine maint... Here the thing - I could be traveling 30 -35 round trip legs a year. It depends on my trade show sched for my shop and insurance adjustments needed for my day gig.. So If I need maint, I'd rather drop the bike off and pick it up and ride it my sched is jammed. I've spent many an afternoon in the shop and have seen the check list performed... So yes, its done..
