Always leave yourself an out...especially when stopped, approaching or going through any intersection.

I look at riding as a near death experience- almost every day I hit the reaper with my get back whip for another day.

Never focus on what just happened, get ready for the next chucklehead that will try to kill you.

The DVD "Ride Like a Pro" has a some good basic info. I recently noticed some small flexible orange plastic cones at local Walmart and bought a dozen. I've got a long driveway and it's fun to practice slow weave there, or set up a quick course at a local parking lot.

I do the same thing! I bought a few cans of optic yellow tennis *****, zipped 'em in half on a bandsaw, and I keep them in my fork bag.

Find an empty parking lot and have some fun!

But, is this a great hobby, or what?!?
You got that right!
