Default 08 nightster pulls left?

Just bought used 08 nightster and noticed that it sometimes veers or pulls left. It doesn't happen all the time but pretty often. Any ideas on what it could be/ how to prevent or resolve this problem? Is it natural for it to do this and I just have to learn to counterweight it?

I'd say this is not natural.
a) look for broken motor mounts
b) check steering stem/ swing arm are secure
c) something might be bent...any sign of accident damage?

Have it checked out by a competent mechanic. Could be worn bearings (neck, swingarm or even wheel), or your rear axle isn't adjusted right. Your bike should not "veer" in any direction. I would not ride this bike at all until you know for sure.

There's no sign of damage, the bike is in really good condition and like I said it doesn't do it all the time. It's more at higher speeds. It might just be my imagination but it seems like it does it more when I'm in a higher gear than I should be ex. In 4th gear only going 30.
