It cracks me up when peolpe like the op expend so much time and energy just to bash HD. You don't like them don't but them...simple move on and let go but yet you seem obsessed over it. Why else would you come to a harley forum take the time to create an account just to bash the brand??? Enjoy that BMW ...i hear their reliability is legendary lol.

Curious...
"For the fourth quarter, sales dropped about 9% to $956 million. Analysts were expecting $1.05 billion in sales. The company reported a profit of $495 million in the quarter, equivalent to no earnings on a per-share basis. Excluding tariff-related costs and restructuring expenses, the company said it earned 17 cents a share, less than the 28 cents analysts expected".
Who are these 'analysts' anyway, and what exactly were they basing their analysis on, or were they just pulling figures out of their collective asses? Purposeful stock manipulation, maybe someone or group looking to gobble up HOG stock by driving the price down? IMO, Motley Fool is a perfect example.
Besides, Harley Davidson showed a profit of almost half a billion dollars in the 4th quarter alone. Somebody school me if I'm wrong but, to me profit is AFTER all the bills are paid. A $495,000,000 profit in only one quarter alone doesn't look like Harley Davidson is about to shutter the windows anytime soon.

Thank you! Get so sick of people all over the net that are "renting" 1/2 their house furniture by the week, can't get financed for a loan via HD and usually scrapping up couch cushion change to put more minutes on their Cricket expound on how they know HD is dead and broke because they're weathering a market correction or sales were down a percentage in a quarter that's larger than Indian sells in an entire year.
