Default Front end wobbles after installing a fairing.

Well I have a fld switchback (dyna) and a installed a full fairing (reckless motorcycles) it's fine 99% of the time except when I'm overtaking or similar at 75mph esp once I get arround the other veh.

To me it feels like I'm getting some lift or similar in the front. And get a bit of a wobble happening, Only time I have ever felt anything even similar is when I overfilled my hilux with rocks for the garden and the front was also very light feeling.

Tyres are 5 years old (admittly heaps of tread left) but there on the cards.

I'm also waiting for a 8" screen to replace the 5" maybee it will add a touch more down force.

The bat wing has quite a bit of lift creeping up on 80mph.
Yours not being factory installed can get MORE lift at a slower speed if it's angled a few degrees.

Don`t go crazy adjusting things until you have new tires.
Don`t ride it until you have new tires.

If you are still running the OE riser bushings, you need to check them. The rubber OE bushings tend to disentergrate under normal use; the added load of the faring will cause them to wear out even faster--much faster. I don't think this is the main source of your problem, but worth a check.

The fairing mounts to the forks were the oemWind screen mounts.

I do have new bushes though, I'm getting the front blacked out so they will be replaced then with some arlen Ness units

Unfortunately this kind of stuff is a risk with aftermarket. The more aftermarket the higher the risk. No way these companies can do testing to make sure everything will work together like the parent companies do.
I hope you find the issue.
