loose docking system

I have a 2021 street with a tour pack attached with a docking system. It has developed some slop and bounces up and down some. It is enough that people following me have mentioned it. Is there an after market locking parts to replace the Harley ones. I would not mind even removing a bolt or two when installing and removing my tour pack, as it is not done that often. With the rough roads we all have to deal with, I think it will just continue to get worse. thanks Dan

First things first, did you rotate the rubber on the dock? Those four rubbers are elliptical (football) in shape. You rotate them to a tighter spot so the tour pack doesn't bounce.
If they are worn out, replace them.
If the docking hardware is aftermarket, the rubbers are probably not elliptical.

Beyond that, did you tighten the bolts that pass through the locking mechanism on the tour pack bracket?
If so, lift up your tour pack and set it down a few times while you're looking at the bolt. Does the nut/bolt wiggle around?
If so, the issue is not the docking hardware, the bolt is not clamping the locking mechanism enough to hold it tight to the tour pack bracket. You can add a thin washer under the bolt head so you get stronger clamping force, to prevent the nut & bolt from wiggling around.

I just fixed the same issue by ordering the fixed mounts (with chrome trim) off one of the Limited's. Total cost was "just" $246, with the chrome trim it's around $175. The whole thing comes off by removing the four bolts that fix the mount to the frame. It's very easy. Another plus is you can easily reach the two forward nuts under the Tour Pak should you want to remove it and leave the frame attached. I never take the Tour Pak off except to clean the bike, but when I do, I find it easier to line it up to reattach it to the bike.

What BrandonSmith said.

Those 'cams' can be rotated to adjust the tightness. It probably is loose and needs to be tightened and positioned correctly.

Thanks for the info. will try rotating the mounts.

I see those mounts practically being given away. As a matter of fact, there's one now for sale in my area for $25.00
