Default Powdercoat question

Anyone know if its ok to steam clean the grey powder coat of my motor?

The steam won't hurt it but the pressure might. Powder coat is a paint... it's just formulated and applied a little different than liquid paint. A good rule of thumb for powder coat is, don't put anything on it you wouldn't put on your gas tank.

So, as long as its not too close (pressure), the steam won't hurt it?
