Grip, left hand - end cap loose?

Back to these end caps.... When I changed my bars, the caps had a screw up the middle and a nut on the grip. I got some new grips and one of the caps went AWOL. There was not a hole in the new grip to accept a screw in the cap.
I bought new HD caps. On the end of the cap was a molded snap on mechanism. THe new caps just snapped into the end of the grip. FWIW....
