my bike was in storage for a few years, so I didn't think much about when I picked this up from a guy who said it was for 98+



98+ what I'm not sure. Doesn't fit my bike. Not even close. Guessing sportster, but I'm not sure. Before I try to resell it, I'd like to know what it fits.

that is a speed check dipstick for the trans it will fit 5 and 6 speeds all but sportster some are shaped a little different than others all have the same thred but the linth and max and mim is differnt
