A member of my Army Reserve unit, B co. 7-158 Aviation (Chinook), in Gardner, KS was recently diagnosed with brain cancer after returning from Afghanistan. SGT Preston Vangordon has 14 years of service but cannot work in his civilian job to support his family. Members of my unit have organized a Poker Run on May 12th, starting at The Tumbleweed in Gardner -fifty percent of the proceeds go to the Vangordon family.
