Anyway, my wife & my cousin & his wife are planning a ride around the 4th of July. We are leaving home after work Tuesday the 3rd which will get us to eastern Iowa that night. Looking for a good town to stay in on the 4th that has a good celebration, fireworks, etc plus accommodations that would allow us to walk to festivities. Flexible but thinking north central Wisconsin, maybe even tomahawk again. You guys know any towns that are known for their Fourth of July celebrations that I should consider? Things to do in the evening etc? Looking for tips, thanks all!
green bay has a pretty good 4th celebration. pretty much the whole downtown area is full of bands that day capped by a fireworks show that last 30-40 minutes. one of the 3 bridges is shut down to vehicles and it has food and refreshments served by different vendors. there are hundreds of boats on the river and watching them leave after the show is kind of fun. http://www.festivalfoodsfireworks.co...ons/green-bay/

I live in Rome. It’s about an hour north of the Wisconsin Dells. We have a fun 4th with a Water Ski show, Fireworks at the Lake Sherwood lodge. There is a Shermalot motel right there, but it’s probably booked. If you go PM me.

Search internet is all you can do. When you do find one expect it to cost some cash to get back in shape. Often some or all of the mounting hardware is missing. I know someone that put one on a 2014. With full restore paint to match. Moving lowers with raditors and fan forwar to clear. Hd trike front end to increase trail all said and done $18,000. Of course he wanted it 100% show room prefect and he got it. I am putting a Classic twin on my 2017 RGU.
Good luck with your project.
