Default Southern Indiana Rides????

It is looking like we will be in Southern Indiana around Patoka Lake over Labor Day. Anyone have any suggestions for good roads to ride down there. I've never been that far south. (Yes I know that is really sad!)

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

RT 37 to 66 thru Rome and Derby up to Rt 62 eastthrewArtist Point, there is a nice place to eat and enjoy the view of the river in Levenworth it called the Overlook restaurant. Then go a little farther east and look for a sign that says THE DOCK follow that road down to the river lots of bikes there on the weekend. Going from memory here it been a year since I was down that way.

It's also worth the trip to findBloomfield, home of the world's second tallest train trestle. This thing is in the middle of nowhere (in Bloomfield). I have a Garmin GPS trip file if you want a copy, but the trip starts in Indy and includes French Lick. It's a nice ride.

It's in Greene County, north of Highway 54 and east-south-east of Tulip. County road 480E runs underneath it.
