RE: Awesome weekend in Michigan
My folks have a cottage up in the Lundington area, actually about 20 miles east in a small town called
Fountain Michigan. Nice area to ride in. Going up through Big Bear dunes and Travis City and the upper loop around the lake......dam it's getting to cold to fast! I barely got any riding in this weekend it was cloudy and misty out.

RE: Awesome weekend in Michigan
Two of those motorcycles were me and my Nephew heading home from the Alpena area. Had a great weekend that started Thursday for us. Saw quite a light show heading north from Oscoda all the way to Hubbard Lake, where we stayed. The lightning was spectacular! We made it without being rained on, arriving at around 9 pm. It started raining about a half hour later.Got rained on a lot Friday, though. Saturday was a perfect day, and Sunday, most of the ride was ruined because of the wind. Had a great time, though, and put on about 1000 miles. Last significant ride of the season.

It's always a good ride when you get there ahead of the rain. Sounds like a good weekend.
