Default model 72 trike kit...

My wife has a 2015 model 72 and we are thinking of going Trike for her. I'm seeing a number of options and am a little confused. My thinking is going with a 3 wheel setup with swing arm and axle adn dual disk brakes that can work with the stock exhaust. I am also looking at some of the carriage style setups that bolt on and basically add training wheels. The reason we are doing this is so she can be relatively comfortable when riding. I understand there are differences in the steering between the two setups and am looking for some input from anyone who has done either of these conversions. I have no problem doing the work myself but I dont want to get into a kit that is gonna require a bunch of fabrication and additional parts to complete.
Any input on this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I don't have any trike experience, but the Frankenstein kits are very popular.

I have been looking at those and they really look like a quality kit. The axel looks a lot beefier than a couple of the others and that will probably the way I'm gonna go. The price difference between that and the training wheel kits is pretty substantial but I dont know anyone who has one of those.

Frankenstein for a bike like that . It will be done right and work well. Short cuts on Trikes and sidecars just do not work out.

Here are a few pics of a Sporty trike kit at an early stage of build. Andy can probably tell you more about the kit he's using. It plainly has fully independent rear suspension.

the training wheels are heavy and cumbersom, they also have bridging problems if the rear drive wheel lands in a low spot your getting off and pushing if a training wheel gets on a high spot your pushing. they also make alot of noise. a trike conversion is the way to go but it will cost more.
