Keep em both. I got a garage full and wouldn't have it any other way. After a while they become like kids. You love em all for different reasons, but can't part with any of them.

Thumbs up

Go to a single seat on the Sportster and trick it out. Keep the Heritage for cruising. Hope I can do that someday!

Told myself I would sell the 77 FXE when I got the Ultra. Couldn't come to part with it. Now I ride both, each for a different purpose.

Gotta admit, riding the Shovelhead will sure make you appreciate an 08 Ultra.

If your garage will hold two bikes, get 3.

Couldn't help myself - pics of new Heritage (2005), Stage 1/SE exhaust/intake, gobs of chrome and goodies, pearl white. Also came with a Corbin seat that doesn't quit fit as well as the stock seat; been told it was made for a smaller girl rider.

Keep both. I have an 06 Sporty, and an 08 Softail. When I wanna ride like a bat out of Hell, I ride the Sporty. When I wanna just cruise, I ride the Softail. And when one of em's dirty, I ride the clean one.

Both nice bikes but nice bikes, got my wife a 99 sporty this spring but I;m thinking next year she will be ready for heritage. I'm thinking if you take the heritage for a good 3 hour ride you'll learn the difference between the two bikes easily.Keep in mind I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the sporty , many use the sporty as a tripper bike with no issues.
