I'm wondering if building a seat for the street rod similar to whats on a dual sport or supermoto would help, if not eliminate the foot peg position problem. It seems that the scoop in the seat puts a taller riders tail below his knees. I also believe that this is probably an American only problem as the rest of the world spend a lot more time in this squat position than we do. I don't think I'm having as sever an issue as Jedz but i do experience some minor discomfort after a while. I'll be searching for someone who may already be building one and may reach out to some seat guys ad see what they can do. Just a random thought.

 

As you know, no one offer an aftermarket solution but there may be someone that will offer to mod your existing seat to your specs.

 

I was thinking it may be easy for someone like Tough Side to do one since they are already making a one piece seat for the SR

Edit: just left their site, looks like they already offer a taller seat. Idk if $425 is worth being a guinea pig for it though.

kinda what I thought. A brat style might be cool though. They make one for the street but not the street rod...yet
