Good Bye Street 500
Today was an very busy and eventful day. I didn’t have time for photos but after I get some rest I’ll post some photos of the bikes involved in trades my stepsons and I were involved in this afternoon.
Stepson #1 bought my favorite backup scoot, a black and chrome ‘08 1200 Sportster. In exchange for helping stepson #2 graduate into a beautiful, low mileage and largely unmolested Silver Metallic ‘06 Sportster, I assumed ownership of his first bike, a black 2015 XG500 Street. Which just would never be my first choice for a backup to my Favorite bike of all time, a ‘13 Dyna SuperGlide Custom. Stepson #3 rode his Red 1994 XL883 Sportster with me to our local dealership this afternoon where we transformed the XG500 into a beautiful ‘04 FXDLI Dyna Low Rider in Sunglo Red. 120 miles across Atlanta several times and $1800 later, I rode the new to me Low Rider home and parked in the garage next to the other 4 bikes. I’m exhausted, but am I tired but tthe final ride home from the dealership was worth the trouble.

Killer Creek HD in Roswell. I live in Lawrenceville and they are a bit out of my area, but they seem to have a bit more used inventory to choose from than Frazier’s HD which is a lot closer to me. Frazier’s has been stellar to deal with, by the way, if you ever get the chance to visit them from your location.
